The Village Schools Partnership can confirm it complies with safer recruitment processes and on-going employment
checks for staff as follows:
ï· Verification of identification checks
ï· Right to Work in the UK checks
ï· Relevant qualification and registrations checks
ï· Employment history and reference checks
ï· An Enhanced DBS check is carried out, including checks against the
DBS Children’s Barred List, and the Teaching Regulation Agency
All staff have a contractual obligation to inform The Executive Headteacher/School Business Manager if they receive a reprimand, final warning, caution or conviction by the Police or Courts whilst employed with The Village Schools Partnership.
