Due to the continuing success of our Federation of two community Primary Schools (Parkham Primary and Buckland Brewer Primary) we are expanding and creating a new class at Buckland Brewer that will incorporate a foundation unit ( 2-5 year olds )and Year 1
We require an exciting and inspirational teacher who is looking for a challenge and opportunity to extend expertise by taking a leading role in developing outstanding EYFS and Early Key Stage 1 provision.
We are looking for an experienced and talented teacher who can deliver high quality learning experiences within EYFS and KS1 and who has a clear understanding of how young children learn successfully, the growth mind-set, and who can deliver and blend effectively child centred and led learning and adult guided.
We can offer you a very experienced team of two Foundation Stage Practitioners who will work alongside you, small teaching groups, friendly and polite children, a supportive staff team and Governing Body and great continuing professional development. This post will initially be based at Buckland Brewer Primary School however you could be asked to work in either school so flexibility is essential as is an ability to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Both schools are situated in idyllic rural surroundings with a family orientated ethos and both strive to deliver excellent opportunities for all pupils. We are members of the Atlantic Coast Cooperative Trust which gives great opportunity for collaboration, training for staff and enrichment opportunities for children.

FSU Worker required @ Parkham Primary School
£7.83 to £8.19 per hour - Fixed term from April 16th 2018
An Early Years Worker is required to work alongside our Early Years Teacher and Foundation stage Practitioner in a unit that caterers for rising 3 to 5 year olds.. You will need to hold a full and relevant early years and childcare qualification at Level 2 (e.g. Level 2 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce, NVQ Level 2 in CCLD). Ideally you will have had previous experience of working in an early years setting and be able to undertake key person responsibilities, and you will be able to start immediately.
You will be forward thinking and enthusiastic about early years in relation to the education of young children and enjoy working as part of a team. Although temporary for the Summer Term this position may be carried forward into the Autumn depending on numbers. There is also the option for an extra 4 hours to run a breakfast club between 8 and 9 pm Monday to Thursday, please indicate on your letter of application if you are interested in this.

Playworker Required @ Parkham Primary School
£7.83 to £8.19 per hour- Fixed term from April 16th 2018
5 hours per week- term time only.
A Playworker is required for an exciting new Breakfast Club at Parkham Primary School. Times are from 8 am pm – 9 am pm Monday – Friday, term time only. The post holders will be required to set up and supervise various activities, both inside and outside for children aged 3 – 11 years. There is the potential for one Playworker and the possibility of job share.
Essential skills include excellent communication with parents/staff and children, providing interesting and fun activities, there is also an element of paper work and organisation required. The successful applicant must be able to work as part of a team.
Desirable qualifications are Paediatric First Aid, NVQ level 2 or 3 in a relevant area, Safeguarding Group 2, however training can be provided. Previous experience in a childcare setting is desirable.
